Our last outings
A new team at BEF
“The mind of a painter should be like a mirror which is filled with as many images as there are things placed before him.” Leonardo da Vinci
BEF knows all there is to know about the Conseil d’État, after the warm welcome we received from its president, Laurent Fabius, and our visit to learn about the role of this institution and its and workings.
Paris has a new cathedral !
Topped with five onion domes covered in gold leaf, the Russian Orthodox Spiritual And Cultural Centre, which opened last autumn, is a symbol of the friendship the binds France and Russia.
Louvres: Northern European paintings
The Flemish and Dutch collections at the Musée du Louvre enjoy a new earthy charcoal backdrop in the Richelieu wing. The sombre tones echo the dark skies so popular in paintings from the Flanders province.
Bienvenue au Français!
How do you properly pronounce and understand the difficult sounds of the French language? Can you tell the difference between “le bon vin” and “le bon vent”? That is the aim of this phonetics class organised by BEF.
Let’s get out and get moving!
Healthy body, healthy mind – that’s the motto of this motivational fitness class held twice a week!
