Established in 1821 by English Thomas Hall avid to introduce in France the fine English earthenware, this prestigious Manufactures, distinguishes himself by a rich and recognizable production.
Gien is a member of the Colbert committee, which includes the most representative companies of French luxury goods. Decorations are inspired since the origin by various artistic movements: the Renaissance, Impressionism, Art nouveau, Oriental Art and Contemporary Art. Andrée Putman, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Garouste and Bonetti also created forms and ornamental motives for Gien.
