Claude Monet and Gustave Caillebotte at Giverny

The themes of the "summer" stroll of the group of the Musée d’Orsay to Giverny, were the water garden of Japanese inspiration and the "clos normand" Claude Monet’s property, and the exhibition of Gustave Caillebotte paints.

Both painters were "princes gardeners", their passion for the nature and the plants allowed them to create a very strong artistic links and led them to paint numerous works on gardens.
